Instructions

To open: Press “C” followed by the access code.

For code-free entry: Press “C” followed by the access code and then press “Y” before opening the door. The door will remain unlocked until “Y” is pressed again.

To cancel code-free entry mode, press “Y” followed by “C”

Changing the code

Press the 'Y' button and the 'C' button to ensure that the lock is not in passage set mode and, when changing code, do not reposition 'Y' or 'C' tumbler.

1. Take your CL400 lock off the door by unscrewing the 2 bolts in the backplate.

2. Press the C button to reset the chamber and place the lock case on a flat surface with the buttons down.

3. Remove the 2 red screws and carefully lift off the code chamber plate. Check that all 14 springs are held in place on the plate.

4. Note that the red tipped code tumblers correspond in position to the existing code The blue tipped non-code tumblers fill the other positions. The C tumbler is not coloured.

5. Hold the lock in your hand and depress the C button. Keeping the C button depressed use tweezers to re-position the tumblers to correspond with your new code. The square notches of ALL tumblers MUST face outwards, with the coloured tips ON TOP. DO NOT force the tumblers in.

NB: Holding the C button depressed whilst removing or replacing the tumblers is ESSENTIAL to avoid damaging the internal mechanism. DO NOT attempt to reposition the C tumbler.

6. Replace the code chamber plate carefully with the 2 red screws.

7. Check the operation of the new code, and make a written note of it before re-installing the lock.

8. Note: Fit either the BLUE or RED tipped spindle to the code side dependant on hand of door.

9. Fit the butterfly spindle to the inside, non-coded side.

The fence has now been fixed, so no worries.

The last skip has now been removed. All the surrounding rubbish has also been taken but there is a small amount of dry rubber crumb left in the grass. I don't think this will do any harm and will disperse when grass is cut next time round.
As the skip was so close to the fence, it took a bit of a knock I'm afraid, and 2 bits of wood have come off. Alistair/Tim as you're down to do the area next to the orbit, would you be able to do the fence at the same time, if possible please ?

The feed back received to date about the play area has been fantastic. The young and not so young ;o) are so enjoying it.
The Nursery School are even planning to hold one of their sessions over there.

Recreation Ground - Play Area Project

Play Dale have now replaced the towers horizontal bar.
Skip being collected tomorrow.

Recreation Area - Play Ground Project

New ramp now in place.

Only thing left outstanding, equipment wise, is the other towers horizontal bar.

A parent was in the play area with their child, even though it clearly states not open to the public. A passer by questioned them for this reason and the parent replied they were allowed in as being paid to test out the equipment !!

I don't think so ????

It amazes me what lengths people will go to just to stay and play !!

Recreation ground - Play Area Project

Playdale on site this afternoon/evening.

LARGE TOWER

New ramp and rope in place.

Regarding wooden step for net rope, unfortunately workman given wrong item, so for time being he has made safe, as very loose, and assures me this will be done in due course.

SMALL TOWERS

New ramp did not fit, therefore workman back again tomorrow.

RUBBISH SKIP

He assured me it will be collected this week or next.

BENCH

It was in much need of some TLC, so myself and daughter Karen painted it this evening.

Colour Guard - woodland oak & cost £5.99. I hope this was OK as spending not agreed.

I was rather angry to find lots of children, plus 2 adults with their children, in the play area this evening. I find this rather irresponsible especially while the workman on site using high powered tools !! He even told them play area was not open to the public yet !!

According to these children Youth Club leaders said it was fine to use during and after club hours. I have already informed them to discourage the children from using it.

I also mentioned the litter as this evening it was every where and wasn't happy to have to pick up after them !!

Hi Youth Clubers

I fully understand that the kids are eager to use the new play area, however it's still a working progress.

While workman are on site, insurance and equipment inspection pending, can I ask you again to discourage the kids from using during/after club hours please until further notice.

There are clear signs saying NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, which have been in place since 15th June.

Also when using the recreation area can I ask that all YC litter be disposed of correctly.
