Our application for a WREN grant has been declined on the grounds that WREN do not permit there to be more than one project at the same location at the same time. Since the play area project in current it is therefore blocking the changing room scheme.
I am arguing the case with WREN on the grounds that if they cannot accept this application there will never be another due to our ineligibility in the future

Unfortunately we have formally been turned down by WREN.
ReplyDeleteThe reasons are as follows:
1. Application invalid as there is an existing project ([play equipment) at the same site
2. The Arlesey landfill site is closed and the money from that site has now run out.
3. WREN currently have £9 of applications with only £2m in funds.
Unfortunately because Arlseley is closed, we no longer qualify for WREN grants.
I will therefore investigate other options.
Hi Alistair
